Common Good sign-up?
When we say sign up – we mean signing in. We do not need to join anything, we are all already paid up members of the Common Good. How you use your membership is up to you.
By far the most important contribution you can make is creating awareness. Talk is good. .That’s what we want for this project. In place of the name of a “TV celebrity”, we want the words “Common Good” on peoples lips. Now we don’t have the millions and public relations that TV companies have to make personalities seem important -what we do have is people. And when people start getting an idea in their head, especially one that could be important to their families – even TV companies have to listen.
So we need to become aware – looking at this website or reading books can make you aware. But we need to become aware through doing things.
Another important aspects of this project is not “creating work for people”. Rather, we want to use the work that is already done – the knowledge that exists- the networks already in-place. We are all busy – the question is. How do we organise to make life and the workload easier? This is the only part we need to commit time to – the rest is already there.
